Club Sports Update

< the club tennis team is attending Club Nationals in Surprise, Arizona this weekend. The team qualified by placing second at the USTA Campus Championship – Northern event in March. Of the 64 teams, Carleton is one of the smaller schools going up against mostly large state schools. Play started yesterday and will continue until Sunday.

The frisbee teams are also in action this weekend at the UPA Northwoods Sectional tournament, being held in Maple Plain. CUT and Syzygy are both seeded first in their respective tournaments and will be looking to defend their sectional titles. GoP and Eclipse are also playing and looking forward to qualify for the UPA Central Regionals as well. Carleton will also be hosting Regionals this year the following weekend as teams from throughout Wisconsin, and Iowa will descend on Northfield to determine who qualifies for Nationals in May.
