<r the first time ever, all six Carleton ultimate teams will be in action at the same tournament. Tomorrow approximately 120 Carleton students will descend on Maple Plain to compete in the UPA Northwoods Sectional tournament.
On the men’s side CUT, the defending sectional champs, will look to repeat their 2009 success as the one seed.GOP is seeded third, their highest sectional seed ever. Hot Karls are seeded thirteenth but be a contender for upsetting many teams.
For the women, Syzygy, Eclipse, and the new team, Nova will all be looking to qualify for regionals. Syzygy will most likely take the one seed and should compete for the title.
Results from this weekend will determine which teams qualify for regionals, hosted at Carleton sixth weekend (May 8-9).
