Arb Notes

<yone and welcome back to Carleton!

If you have not already done so this school year, you should explore the Arboretum right about now. With 800 acres of prairie, oak savanna, forest, and wetlands, an abundance of interesting plants and animals, and a wave of warm fall weather, there could not be a better time to go see what is happening. Fall is especially magnificent in the Arboretum as the leaves and grasses change colors while the late summer prairie flowers are still in bloom. So before winter arrives and you need skis or snowshoes to go, make sure to stop by the Carleton Arboretum!

Carleton students are also always welcome to join the Student Naturalists on our Friday Arb walks. Just meet at the Arb Office by Farm House at 3:30 and we will depart from there.

Happy fall!
