<ong>ACT Center and ACE Office Planning to Merge
Beginning July 1, 2011, Acting in the Community Together (ACT) will join Academic Civic Engagement (ACE) in reporting to the Dean of the College Office through Associate Dean Arjendu Pattanayak. The purpose is to move towards a unified curricular and co-curricular center, for better partnerships between students, community partners, staff, and faculty.
Esteemed Professor to Present Annual Honors Convocation
Carleton’s Honors Convocation will be presented by Stephen Kelly, a Carleton professor of music and renowned jazz musician. Entitled “My Carleton Education,” the 2011 Honors Convocation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 27, in the Carleton College Skinner Memorial Chapel.
