Budget Committee Recommendations
Student organizations receiving funding were Farm House ($150) and Japanese Club ($40). CANOE was denied a $1200 request.
Class Dinner Update
Class Dinners have been postponed until next fall due to time constraints. The Senate hopes that having it in the fall will generate more enthusiasm. Plans are to close dining halls and have four giant picnics.
Amendments and Approvals
Spring allocations were approved unanimously, the Constitutional amendments were short three votes, and thus did not pass, and no questions arose from the proposed bylaw changes.
Miscellaneous Discussions
Carleton is hiring a new Director of Energy and Sustainable Management. Also they hired a firm to come up with an Environmental Action Plan.
Next Monday is the last CSA Senate meeting for the year. They have something planned – stop by to find out what.
