<w what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “I know I should ask someone about my resume, or start looking for internships, but it’s almost 5th week! I’ve got midterms and papers and everything else on top of that! Those other things will just have to wait. There’s no way I have time for an appointment in the Career Center!”

Ok, you probably aren’t saying that, but it’s probably crossed your mind. Not only that, but you’re right. You might not have time to sit down for 30-40 minutes with a career counselor. To help you out, the Career Advisors at the Career Center hold office hours almost every day to fit to your schedule. Walk in whenever you have time for as much time as you need.

If you’re in or around Sayles, stop by anytime between 11:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, and a CA will be ready to assist you. Don’t make it to Sayles very often? Busy during the day? Sundays through Thursdays, the CAs have hours in the Libe from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm in room 328 (down the main stairs and on the left). The CAs have a wide range of backgrounds and interests, but they’re all trained to help you with whatever questions you have. They want to help. Stop by! And don’t forget about Cheesy Fridays. From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Fridays you’ll be able to meet with CA while eating gourmet cheese. We’re a classy bunch.

    Upcoming Events:

-The Chapters Program is half over, but there are still two Thursdays left, October 15 and October 22. Schedule an appointment to talk with a professional in Business/Finance, Law, Public Policy or Medicine. E-mail Jessica Mueller ([email protected]) to grab one of the last spots.

-The deadline to apply for the Scholars Trips , October 16, is quickly approaching. Trips go from November 29 to December 5, covering the fields of Clean Tech (Bay Area), Public Health/Medicine (Atlanta), and Film/Television and Media (LA). For help applying, meet with a CA during the aforementioned hours.
