Community mourns passing of recent alum Joe Sjoberg ‘10

<rities have identified the remains of missing 2010 graduate Joe Sjoberg.  His car and body were found badly burned near a farm outside of Madison. Missing since late November, Sjoberg was a staple of Carleton social life in the four years that he was a student.

There will be a memorial service for Joe on Saturday, May 28th, at 2pm, here in the Chapel.  Joe’s brother, Rob, and possibly other family members, will attend.

The family will hold a funeral on Saturday, June 4th, in Seattle.  Further information on the funeral will be forthcoming from Joe’s family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent via mail or online (go.carleton.edu/give) to the Joe Sjoberg Memorial Fund at Carleton. Cards may be send here to the Chapel or to Joe’s parents:
