Women’s Track and Field
The Knights had several great performances over several meets. At the Gary Wilson invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota on April 23, Lara Erickson ’25 ran the second-fastest 800-meter run time in school history, recording a time of 2:13.76 to place 3rd. At the Drake Relays on April 24, Aliya Larsen ’26 ran the eighth-fastest time in school history in the 10,000-meter run (36:20.94) to place 11th in her event debut. Also on April 24, at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational in St. Paul, Maggie Votruba ’25 finished 11th with a season’s best time of 19:33.43 in the 5,000-meter event. On April 26, at the same meet, Nora Daley ’27 won the steeplechase in her event debut, recording a time of 11:26.02 for 9th on the school’s all-time list, while Willa Bishop ’28 finished 3rd in the javelin throw with a PR of 32.82 meters.
Men’s Track and Field
The Knights finished third at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational in St. Paul on April 24 and 26. Roy Llewelyn ’26 finished 3rd in the 5,000-meter race; Torte Tortensesn ’27 shaved 42 seconds off of their previous PR in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to win the event; Reese Anderson ’25 won the javelin with a big PR of 52.80 meters and finished 2nd in the 400-meter hurdles; Asher Nathan ’27 and Josh Meier ’25 finished 3rd and 4th in the 400-meter dash; Simon Chambers-Trumbach ’27 and Ronen Silberman finished 4th and 5th in the 1,500-meter run; Ethan Cline-Cole finished 4th in the triple jump; and Max Jones ’28 finished 4th in the long jump.
Women’s Golf
The Knights finished 2nd with 640 total strokes over 36 holes at the home St. Olaf/Carleton Spring Invite on April 26-27. Carter Sichol ’26 tied for 2nd with an 11-over-par 155 strokes, and Mindy Zhai ’26 tied for 6th with 160 strokes.
Men’s Golf
The No. 44 Knights finished 4th at the Saint John’s Spring Invitational on April 26 and 27, totaling 602 strokes over 36 holes. Sam Higaki ’27 tied for 4th with an even-par 143 strokes.
Softball
The (10-26, 4-14 MIAC) Knights lost two games 1-4 and 3-4 against Hamline University on April 26.
Baseball
The (11-19, 5-13 MIAC) Knights split two games 5-2 and 1-12 against Concordia College-Moorhead on April 26. They swept Hamline University 5-4 and 5-4 on April 30.
Women’s Tennis
The No. 28 (14-3, 9-1 MIAC) Knights beat the College of St. Scholastica 8-1 to clinch the No. 2 MIAC playoff seed on April 26. Amelia Asfaw ’25, Mariam Nechiporuk ’25, and Ryann Witter ’27 won their doubles and singles matches. The Knights beat St. Benedict 9-0 on April 27.
Men’s Tennis
The Knights clinched the No. 2 MIAC playoff seed with a 9-0 victory over Hamline University on April 26. Ashkay Garapati ’28, Baiyun Jing ’27, and Zach Leslie ’25 all won their doubles and singles matches, while Aiden Patel ’28 won a team-high 15th singles match. They also defeated St. John’s College 9-0 on April 27.
