<hle to hold a series of town hall meetings February 7
Invites residents to hear about 2009 legislative session, share input, concerns and ideas
State Senator Kevin Dahle, DFL Northfield, will hold a series of three town hall meetings on February 7, as follows:
Elysian: 1:00-200 p.m. at the Elysian Tourism Center;
Cleveland: 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the Cleveland City Hall;
Le Center: 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the LeCenter City Hall.
“I invite all interested Senate District 25 residents to join me in an open discussion of the issues facing the legislature this year.” Sen. Dahle said. “Gathering input from the people of our area will allow me to be a better representative of our interests at the State Capitol.”
Sen. Dahle said that with a $4.8 billion projected shortfall, the state’s budget is expected to heavily dominate legislative discussions in 2009, but a variety of other issues are expected to be addressed, as well.
