<ong>Wednesday, January 12
– 4:55 PM  A fire alarm was reported at Nourse Hall.  A dish washing sponge had been left in a pot on a hot burner.  Lots of smoke.  No fire.

Friday, January 14
– 12:15 PM  A staff member had fallen on an icy sidewalk and was transported by ambulance to Northfield Hospital.

– 11:25 PM Security was called to check on an intoxicated student in Goodhue Hall.  No medical attention was required.

Saturday, January 15
– 2:00 AM A small amount of marijuana was turned over to Security by resident of Musser Hall who had been smoking in his room.

– 2:15 PM A fire alarm was reported at Evans Hall.  Burned popcorn.  No fire.

– 5:20 PM A fire alarm was reported again at Evans Hall.  An overzealous crockpot appeared to be the cause.  No fire.

– 7:35 PM A fire alarm was reported at Severance Hall.  A malfunctioning beam detector.  No fire.

– 9:20 PM A student who had sustained serious burns in a kitchen accident at Myers Hall was transported by ambulance to Northfield Hospital.

– 10:00 PM Security transported an ill student to Northfield Hospital for treatment.

Monday, January 17

– 5:40 AM  A student with abdominal pains was transported by ambulance to Northfield Hospital.

Tuesday, January 18
– 8:50 PM  Security was called to check on a student at the ice rink who had been injured when a broomball stick had been jammed into his side.  No medical attention was required.
