<rleton rookie David Flynn fired a final-round even-par 72 to tie for third place, earning All-Conference distinction at the MIAC Championships last weekend and establishing a new program standard at the event. The Knights finished seventh in the team competition with a score of 947.
After struggling on day one, the Knights righted the ship a bit on days two and three to finish seventh in the team competition with a score of 947. This was the program’s best placement since the championships switched to a 54-hole format in 2006. It was also Carleton’s highest finish in the standings since taking sixth in 2002, when the event was shortened to just 27 holes by inclement weather.
