Halloween Recipes

<p>

There are a few bastions of junk food that I have yet to extricate from my otherwise fairly healthy diet: cosmic brownies, Pepsi, and my most favorite seasonal treat, the iced cookie. I (very) briefly considered reviewing the various autumnal cookies available at grocery stores this time of year, but realized it would be futile. Nothing would top these babies.Fortune Cookie

Musser PenisWhat is the best part you ask? Why, could it be the quarter inch thick frosting? The melt-in-your-mouth sugar cookie that lies below? My favorite part, actually, is how few sprinkles are on each cookie. Restraint is the last thing I expect from the Cub Foods Bakery, and they surprise me EVERY TIME.

Do yourself a favor, and pick up some of these. I’d strongly encourage taking advantage of Cub’s 24 hours of operation.

BEST ICED COOKIE HOLIDAYS

1. Halloween: Infinitely better than any other Halloween candy, and the anticipation just builds and builds after the Fourth of July.

2. St. Patrick’s Day: Pour one out for my ancestors.

3. Valentines Day: Pink cookies are nice.

4. Fourth of July: Not a big cookie time for me.

5. Christmas: Too much cookie competition.
