Hey now, hey now.
Day 2:
I can’t believe I’m finally here! Day one was incredible, and there’s nobody I would’ve rather spent it with than my best friend, self-proclaimed high school bully Julia Miller. (I am a little worried about how she’ll hold up in Rome––she’s still talking in capital letters. She only talks in capital letters. But I think she’ll adapt).
Day 3:
This program was made for me. And not even because I’m a history major! I mean, Lizzy Ehren…Lizzie McGuire…we’re basically the same person.
Day 4:
Definitely getting pizza tomorrow. Really excited. I wonder if it’ll be as good as Basil’s.
Day 5:
Today we went to a celebration for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. I’ve never seen Bill North so happy.
Day 6:
After dinner, Julia and I went to check out Trevi Fountain. Julia almost fell in. Classic. Great selfie though.
Day 7:
I can’t wait to see the Colosseum and the Sistine Chapel. Hopefully I’ll meet my Paolo, but I hope he doesn’t ask me to sing on the spot. A dinner date or two would be nice to start.
Day 8:
This is going to be an amazing ten weeks. I can already tell.
Day 9:
This is what dreams are made of.
